Latibex is a Spanish stock index that groups the main values of Latin American companies. This index has the advantage that it allows investors to trade Latin American securities in euros and thus avoid the complexity of the currency exchange.
Latibex, created by Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, has two sub-indices in collaboration with the FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange): the FTSE Latibex Top, which groups the 15 most liquid values of Latibex; and the FTSE Latibex Brasil, where the ten most liquid companies on the Brazilian stock exchange are listed.
