This statistic presents the average daily expenditure in euros of tourists staying in non-regulated tourist rental homes in some of the main urban destinations in Spain in 2014. Tourists who stayed in non-regulated rental housing in Málaga spent 51.5 euros on average per day, more than one euro above the average registered in Madrid.

Data elaborated from the analysis of 120,247 trips of foreign and Spanish tourists to Spain collected in the statistical operations of Familitur (2013) and Egatur (2013 and 2014), prepared by the General Subdirectorate of Knowledge and Tourist Studies of Spain.
