In the last decade, exports of leather goods (bags, belts, wallets, etc.) from France had been increasing steadily. In 2019, leather goods accounted for the biggest share (64 percent) of the total value of leather exports from France. Conversely, raw materials accounted for 4 percent of the total export value of this sector.
