This statistic presents the most important factors for Europeans when choosing a summer vacation destination in 2019. Over 40 percent of respondents said that climate played an essential role in their choice, as did the risk of terrorist attacks in the country of destination (42 percent).

Several answers were possible. * The survey was conducted with a representative sample of 1,000 respondents from the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
