The volume of consumption of nuts and dried fruit in Spanish households in 2021 was 3.55 kilos per person, which is the highest figure seen in the entire period analysed. In the previous year it had already managed to exceed the three kilos of consumption per capita in nuts in Spain, which follows a positive trend that began in 2013.

Due to the census published by the INE, the data for 2013 were recalculated and, from that year onwards, a new series not comparable with previous data is started.
The 2013 data includes from December 2012 to November 2013.
