The pharmaceutical consumption of anxiolytics in Spain saw no significant changes in 2022 in comparison to the previous year 2021 and remained at around 59.5 defined daily doses per 1,000 inhabitants per day. In comparison to 2021, the consumption decreased not significantly by 0.7 defined daily doses per 1,000 inhabitants per day (-1.16 percent). Nevertheless, the consumption has been subject to fluctuation over the observed period.
