Milk and plant-based drinks sales volume in Belgium 2015-2017
This statistic displays the milk and plant-based drinks sales volume in Belgium in 2015 and 2017 (in million liters). In this period, the consumption volume of milk in Belgium decreased. In 2015, nearly 400 million liters of milk were sold in Belgium. Two years later, this had decreased to roughly 363 million liters. In the plant-based drinks category the opposite trend was visible: whereas in 2015 the consumption of plant-based beverages was approximately 25 million liters, by 2017 this had increased to nearly 30 million liters.
