This statistic represents the video sales revenue by channel type in the United Kingdom in 2016. By far the biggest channel for purchasing videos and movies is still DVDs. In 2016, the revenue from DVDs was 711 million British pounds. The digital form for purchasing video material is, however, on the grow. In 2016, the revenue from digital channels was 209 million British pounds. The digital channel now leaves the Blu-Ray behind it, with 182 million British pounds worth of revenue from Blu-Rays.
