This statistic depicts the opiod prescription rate by dosage and supply in the U.S. in 2006 and 2018, per 100 persons. The rate for all opioid prescriptions stood at 72.4 in 2006 and at 51.4 in 2018. However, the rate for prescriptions including 30 and more days of supply increased from 17.6 to 22.
