Spain: leading clothing retail companies in 2023
Punto Fa, whose trading name is MANGO, topped the list of leading Spanish retailers based on sales value in 2023, with approximately 2.2 billion euros. Primark Tiendas ranked second, with a total sales value that amounted to approximately 1.5 billion euros the same year. The revenues that the Inditex group generated worldwide during the 2023 fiscal year amounted to roughly 35.9 billion euros. Other important retailer brands from Inditex include Bershka, Stradivarius or Pull & Bear.
Spain: one of world’s fashion leaders
The Spanish fashion industry is present worldwide as most of its fashion retailers operate internationally. Inditex was the fashion group that featured the highest number of shops, with approximately 5.7 thousand across the globe in 2024. AWWG held the second position, with 3.5 thousand clothing stores.
Inditex and its brands
Out of the approximately 5.7 thousand Inditex stores globally, almost two thousand were Zara shops, ranking it as the most common establishment of the Spanish clothing company. It will then come as no surprise that roughly 72 percent of the total sales of Inditex were generated through the Zara brand in 2023.
