A survey conducted at the end of 2020 and beginning 2021 in Mexico found that 79 percent of responding children aged 7 to 11 stated using YouTube as their platform for watching online content. Meanwhile, platforms like Netflix and YouTube for Kids accounted for 37 and 16 percent of the responding participants each, while social networks like TikTok and Facebook represented even smaller shares.
