As of April 2023, approximately 53 percent of TV households surveyed in Mexico reported only having access to free TV. Around 39 percent of respondents used exclusively pay TV, whereas eight percent had access to both free and pay TV. Some 20 percent of pay TV households in Mexico subscribed to the service to have access to distance learning in 2023.
