In the considered period, Lombardy had the highest expenditure at the box office, with nearly 130 million euros. Lazio and Emilia-Romagna were ranked second and third with 92 million euros and roughly 70 million euros, respectively. The lowest expenditures were registered in Aosta Valley and Molise.
