Share of young adults in India - by living companion 2016
This statistic displays the results of a youth survey conducted among 15-34 year olds across 19 states across India in 2016 about who they lived with. A majority of respondents, about 65 percent, lived with their parents, while only four percent lived with a friend, in a hostel or alone during the survey period.
