It can be seen that a share of 66 percent of respondents in Switzerland stated that they would rather have a device installed in their car to transmit data, instead of a smartphone app, at that time. Spain was the only country in which a small majority of respondents stated a preference for a smartphone app (52 percent), as opposed to a device installed in their car (48 percent), as of 2016.
