In the second quarter of 2019, the average payment time by a Dutch IT company was approximately 42 days. This is longer than the payment time of other branches. The Dutch government, for example, took an average of approximately 37 days to pay their bills.
Overall, businesses in the Netherlands seem to do better due to the improving economy and low interest rates. The quarterly number of bankruptcies of financial institutions, for example, decreased in the second quarter of 2018 when compared to the previous quarter. It reached a value of 94 in the second quarter of 2018.
