The statistic shows the opinion on a law punishing with reclusion propaganda containing images and content relating to fascism and Nazism in Italy in 2017. The law would punish with imprisonment from six months to two years (it is increased by one third if the act is displayed online) anyone who makes propaganda of images or content linked to the fascist party or the German National Socialist Party, even only through production, distribution, dissemination or sales of goods depicting persons, images or symbols clearly referred to them. According to the survey, the majority of respondents (over 31 percent) agreed with the new law under which fascist and Nazi propaganda would become a punishable offence.
