This statistic describes the results of a survey among hotels about the average stay of domestic guests at Indian hotels in the 2017 financial year, based on star category. On average, domestic guests stayed the longest at three-star hotels in the country for almost six days, while the shortest average stay was about two days at heritage hotels during the measured time period.
