American IT company DXC Technology reported an annual revenue of approximately 13.7 billion U.S dollars during its 2024 fiscal year. This figure marked a decline of over two billion dollars in revenue from the company’s 2022 total. These figures, however, are difficult to compare directly to earlier years as the company split off from Hewlett Packard in 2017 before merging with Computer Sciences Corporation.
IT Services
The general aim of IT services companies is to provide both businesses and individual customers around the world with tools and technical expertise related to computing systems. Since its restructuring in 2017, DXC Technologies has largely focused on providing business-to-business IT services to companies around the world. A massive and continuously expanding industry, IT services spending is eclipsed the trillion-dollar mark in 2019, and is expected to reach nearly 1.3 trillion U.S. dollars in spending in 2022.
DXC Technology's fiscal year ends on March 31.
Revenue figures reflect the historical revenues of the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), excluding revenue from its National Public Sector (NPS) segment, which was separated out into a new company, CSRA Inc. DXC Technology was formed in April 2017 following a merger of CSC and the Enterprise Services division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
