This statistic shows the answers to a survey question regarding opinions on financial robo-advisors in the Benelux countries (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) in 2017, by country. Robo-advisors or artificial intelligence (A.I.) making financial decisions is a relatively recent trend in the financial services industry. It is something health insurances in the Benelux experiment with, but on a small scale. When asked about the potential threat posed by robo-advisors to Registered Investment Advisors in the United States in 2016, approximately 53 percent of the respondents indicated they were not at all concerned about it. In 2017, more than half of the respondents from Luxembourg indicated they do no want any automated financial activities, which is higher than the 36 percent of European consumers who are against this idea.
