Over the period of consideration, the total number of individuals employed in the processing and preserving of meat industry in Italy has increased passing from over 19.8 thousand individuals in 2010, to about 22 thousand people employed in the industry in 2015. After decreasing for a couple of years, by 2021, the reported number of employees was over 22 thousand people once again.
