This statistic shows the distribution of breweries' domestic beer sales in Finland from 2007 to 2017, by type of packaging. In the survey period, major changes occurred in the shares of sold packaging types in terms of bottles and cans. In 2007, bottles still accounted for approximately 45 percent of domestic sales in Finland. Ten years later in 2017, the share of cans had reached 83.5 percent, whereas bottles now accounted for merely 5.3 percent of domestic beer sales of Finnish breweries.
