Italy: preferred alcoholic beverages as of May 2016, by gender
This statistic shows the preference of Italian consumers about alcoholic beverages in Italy as of May 2016, broken down by gender. As of the survey period, the share of male respondents who preferred spirits was nine percent whereas the share of female respondents was approximately four percent. The most preferred alcoholic beverage was beer for males (45 percent) while, on the other hand, females preferred wine instead (43 percent).
