This statistic shows the result of a survey on media usage for following the news among young people in Finland in 2016. When asked what medium they used to follow the news, a little over 70 percent of respondents stated that they visited the website of the respective media. The second most popular medium was television. Concerning social media, news were followed by consuming content posted by both friends and media.
