This statistic represents Italians' risk perception with regard to their bank deposits in 2016. According to this survey, almost sixty percent of respondents declared to be worried about their bank savings. Large banks were seen as more trustworthy than small banks: 27 percent of respondents believed that large banks were the safest place to deposit their savings. In contrast, less than 5 percent of interviewees held such an opinion for banks in general.
