As of 2018, the production volume of Aroma raud apples was highest. This species is quite similar to that of the Swedish-origin Aroma and it reached a volume of just over 1.8 thousand metric tons produced in Norway. The second most produced apple species in the country were Summerred apples with a production volume of roughly 1.7 thousand metric tons.
Producer price
The average producer price of apples in Norway fluctuated during the ten-year period from 2007 to 2017. In 2010, it peaked at on average 10,970 Norwegian kroner per metric ton. As of 2017, the average apple producer price amounted to 10,210 Norwegian kroner per metric ton.
