Ireland: total attendance of horse racing events 2012-2021
This statistic displays the total number of people who attended horse racing events in Ireland from 2012 to 2020. While in 2012 a total of approximately 1.19 million people attended a horse racing event, attendance gradually increased over the time period, reaching roughly 1.31 million attendees in 2019. In keeping with government COVID-19 guidelines, attendances were severely curtailed for most of 2020. In 2021 there were 231 thousand people that attended horse racing events in Ireland.
