This statistic displays the sales increase of selected food and drink products during Carnival in South-East Netherlands in 2017. During Carnival 2017, the number of sausage rolls sold in the south-east of the Netherlands increased by 170 percent. Frozen snacks were also popular. During the Carnival period typical Dutch snacks as frikandel and kroket were also sold more than regularly. The sales of hamburgers increased by over 50 percent as well.
