This statistic represents the results of a survey in 2017 across eight cities in India about the risk of accidents with pedestrians on mobile phones according to drivers. A majority of drivers, about 50 percent responded that there was always a risk of accidents when pedestrians were on mobile phones, while 16 percent of drivers did not think so.
