This statistic shows the market share of soft drinks packaging in Norway and Finland in 2015, by type. Non-refillable PET packaging dominated the soft drinks market in Norway and Finland, accounting for roughly 90 percent of the whole market. Cans and glass, on the other hand, were less popular packaging materials for soft drinks in the two Nordic countries. The majority of cans and PET bottles in Norway and Finland include a deposit which can be refunded at reverse vending machines placed in most supermarkets.
