Share of households with broadband internet access Slovakia 2010-2021

The share of households with broadband internet access in Slovakia increased by 5.3 percentage points since the previous year. With 89.93 percent, the share of households with broadband internet access thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Notably, the share of households with broadband internet access has been, with the exception of 2013, continuously increasing over the last years.

The availability of broadband is measured by the percentage of households that are connectable to an exchange that has been converted to support xDSL-technology, to a cable network upgraded for internet traffic, or to other broadband technologies. It includes fixed and mobile connections.
