Recycling rate of steel cans Japan 2010-2019
In 2019, the recycling rate of steel cans in Japan amounted to 93.3 percent. Figures increased slightly compared to around 89.4 percent in 2010. The recycling rate of steel cans was much higher than the recycling rate of general waste, which remained at around 20 percent throughout the past decade.
