Number of hotels and similar establishments in Spain by number of rooms 2023

In 2023 the most common hotel type in Spain was small— it had less than 25 rooms and there were more than 12,000. The next most common type of hotel was the medium-sized one, with 25 to 99 rooms. There were approximately 5,100 of those in Spain in 2023. The figures show that this configuration, where hotels with more than 250 rooms are the least common, has remained fairly constant over the last years.
