The agricultural area used for the production of soybean in Ukraine has gradually decreased over the observed period. More specifically, the area under soybean crops declined from approximately 1.6 million hectares in 2019 to less than 1.3 million hectares in 2021. The leading destinations of soybean exports from Ukraine were China and Romania.
