The turnover of the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas industry in Turkey saw no significant changes in 2014 in comparison to the previous year 2013 and remained at around 1350.8 million euros. Nevertheless, this was the first time during the considered period that the turnover in this industry declined, albeit slowly, in Turkey. Nevertheless, the turnover has been subject to fluctuation over the observed period. For the purpose of Eurstat Dataset NACE Rev.2 Section K turnover comprises the totals invoiced by the observation unit during the reference period, which corresponds to market sales of goods or services supplied to third parties.
