In 2023, domestic tourism spending in Germany increased by nearly three billion euros from 2019, recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, the expenditure by domestic travelers in the country amounted to just under 406 billion euros in 2023. This figure was expected to reach an estimated 410.8 billion euros in 2024.
