In 2018, 87 percent of respondents in Slovakia reported that they had obtained their last course of antibiotics from a medical practitioner, this was below the European 28 average at 93 percent, while 13 percent of respondents in Slovakia reported that they had obtained their last course of antibiotics from a source other than a medical practitioner.
