In 2018, 47 percent of respondents incorrectly answered when asked if antibiotics could be used to kill viruses. 43 percent of respondents incorrectly answered when asked if antibiotics are affective against cold and flu, while 86 percent of respondents correctly answered when asked if unnecessary use of antibiotics can make them ineffective.
