Most popular YouTube channels in Norway 2024, by number of video views

Alan Walker had the most viewed videos on YouTube in Norway in September 2024. The Norwegian DJ and record producer had well over 14 billion views. What is more, he also came first in the ranking by number of subscribers, with over 45 million subscribers in July 2024. The animation channel thelovelyhorrorshow ranked second and was viewed roughly 7.1 billion times. The other well-known Norwegian musician Kygo, came third in the ranking of most video views, with roughly 5.76 billion views. 

Of what age are most YouTube users? 

    A study conducted in the second quarter of 2020 investigated the share of Norwegian YouTube users, by age group and gender. The platform was most popular among the youngest representatives, aged between 18 and 29 years. 68 percent of the men and 67 percent of the women of that age group used YouTube that year.

YouTube in the Nordic countries 

    Norway was second, among the other Nordic countries, regarding daily use of YouTube in 2017. In fact, 37 percent of the Norwegians interviewed that year used the platform daily, while the Finnish who used it, were 39 percent. Sweden and Denmark were respectively third and fourth in the ranking.
