This statistic shows the prevalence rates of asthma among U.S. adults for the period between 2011 and 2014, by weight and age. During this time, it was estimated that 11.1 percent of 20 to 39 year olds who were obese suffered from asthma, compared to just 7.5 percent of those of normal weight.
