This statistic presents the results of a survey on the reported interest in information about travels and holiday destinations among singles and the total population in Germany in 2020. The share of singles younger than 50 years old who were very interested was 26.8 percent, which exceeded the share of singles in total who reported the same level of interest.

The sample was derived from the the German-speaking population older than 14 years of age in Germany. Singles were defined as persons who live in a one-person household.
Information about the total sample size:
2020: 23,138 respondents, projected to 70.63 million persons
Information about the target group "singles": 8,178 respondents, projection to 21.97 million persons
Information about the target group "singles until 49 years": 4,011 respondents, projection to 11.78 million persons
