Per province in the Netherlands, the amount of office space for rent or for sale varied between the period of 2012 and 2020. In this last year, the amount of office space available was lower than in other years. As of 2020, approximately 1.66 million square meters of office space was for rent or for sale in the province of South Holland. In Zeeland, only 35,000 square meters of office space was available.
Amsterdam is the most expensive Dutch city for office space. As of 2020, the average rent of office space was 221 euros per square meter, well above the average rate in the rest of Netherlands' major cities.
