Microbrewery beer production in Germany from 2005 to 2023

In 2023, the 856 microbreweries, which are defined as breweries with a maximum total annual production of 1,000 hectoliters each, produced a total of over 214,000 hectoliters. This was a slight decrease compared to the previous year at a total production of over 215,000 hectoliters.
