This statistic shows the refinery capacity in the United States as of January 2014, by U.S. Petroleum Administration for Defense District (PADD) region and refinery type. In that year, the Gulf Coast PADD refined 1.9 million barrels of crude oil in refineries without a coking unit, and 7.8 million barrels of crude oil per day in refineries with a coking unit.
