GB: prize money won abroad by locally trained horses from 2010 to 2015
The statistic displays the amount of prize money won in horse racing abroad, by horses trained in Great Britain from 2010 to 2015. In 2015, a total of 23.37 million British pounds were won abroad by horses trained in Great Britain. Equestrian sports are rather popular in the United Kingdom. In 2016 there were 352,900 people in England alone, participating in equestrian sports on a monthly basis.
