Consumption of petroleum increased during the period, reaching approximately 199,000 metric tons of oil equivalent in 2015. Consumption of electricity decreased on the other hand, from nearly 1.7 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2010 to 1.47 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2015.
