This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in the first quarter of 2016 among almost 3,000 adult American men on their preferred men's athletic shoes brand. The results were then sorted sorted by whether the respondents had an African-American background, or not. During the survey, 26.4 percent of respondents given as "African-American" stated their preferred men's athletic shoes brand is Nike; 20 percent of respondents sorted as "Non-African American" agreed.
