The number of fiction book sales in Sweden reach 12.46 million in 2023, slightly down from 12.72 million in the previous year. Whilst the number of fiction books sold tends to fluctuate each year and rarely surpasses 11 million, the figure has not dipped below ten million since 2014. However, 2023 marked the third year in a row, when fiction books sales in the Scandinavian country surpassed 12 million.
