In 2021, Blekinge and Kalmar were the two counties in Sweden in which the highest share of new-born children were baptized. Nearly 50 percent of children in these two counties were baptized. On the other hand, Stockholm and neighboring Västmanland had the lowest baptism ratio in the country.
