The monthly construction output of all new housing construction in Great Britain from January 2016 to November 2020 saw an overall growth, despite occasional fluctuation. However, as of April 2020, a large decrease in the value of the monthly construction output of all new housing is visible: during this month, the value amounted to almost 1.5 billion British pounds, not even half of the value output of the month before (March 2020, over 3.6 billion British pounds). By this time, the COVID-19 pandemic had started to show its effect in Great Britain. After an initial increase, however, numbers started to rise again, amounting to over 3.5 billion British pounds again in August 2020.
